Photography has always been about connection for me. It’s about seeing people as they are…unfiltered, full of life, and real. And that’s exactly why I do what I do now.
It started in my classroom, back when I was a first-grade teacher. I would document my students’ little moments, from toothless grins to messy art projects, knowing how fast they would grow and change. And then, when I had my own three boys, my camera became an extension of me. I photographed everything. The scraped knees, the laughter, the quiet moments in between. I filled scrapbooks with memories because I knew one thing for sure: time moves too fast, and these moments matter.

At the core of everything I do is my faith and my love for family. It’s what fuels my passion for photography, what inspires me to capture the beauty in every season of life. I believe in love…love for each other, love for the little moments, love for the journey we’re all on. That belief is woven into every part of my work. Photography, to me, is so much more than just snapping pretty pictures. It’s about capturing the love, the laughter, the fleeting moments that pass by too quickly. I don’t just document what’s in front of my lens,I tell a story through it. I focus on the emotions that make each moment unforgettable. My goal is that when you look back at your gallery, you don’t just see what the day looked like, you feel it, all over again.

I didn’t start out as a photographer. I’ve been a teacher, a mom, a caretaker. I’ve walked through seasons of joy, seasons of change, and seasons of heartbreak. All of those experiences have shaped the way I see the world and, in turn, how I capture it. I know what it feels like to watch time move too fast, to wish I could freeze a moment just a little longer. I bring patience, understanding, and a deep appreciation for every story I get to tell.

If there’s one thing I want my clients to feel when they work with me, it’s at ease. I know that stepping in front of a camera can sometimes feel nerve-wracking, but I promise, with me, it won’t. My sessions aren’t stiff, overly posed, or rushed, they’re natural, full of movement, and centered around the real moments that make you you. My goal is to have you walking away saying, “That was so much fun!” because that’s exactly how it should be.

Air Force family life means I’ve lived all over - Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, and now sunny Florida! I know a thing or two about adapting, and I bring that same go-with-the-flow energy into my sessions.
I’ve Moved. A Lot.
First, it was a little 110 film camera. Then my trusty 35mm. Now, I shoot with my Canon R5, but the love for capturing memories? That’s never changed.
I’ve Had a Camera in My Hand Since Middle School.
I have energy...like, let’s-run-around-the-beach-and-climb-trees energy. I will 100% keep up with your wild kids or your adventurous love story.
I’m a Long-Distance Runner.
I have three grown boys, so trust me, I get it. Not everyone loves having their photo taken, but I know how to make it fun (even for the most reluctant participants).
